Beyond the card

Abyssal monsters have an indescribably horrific form. These demonic creatures were encountered during the Oniyx expedition — a horrifying venture into the depths of the temple of Zaar'Phahl in Shal'Zaar. The group's progress through the Abyss was grueling. Some members saw bright red eyes appear on their skin. No one knows what could have caused this phenomenon; perhaps a contamination. Consumed by murderous urges, they became dangerous, hyperactive zombies. This plague was named "Raffteru", the boundary of the abyss — the law that governs the corruption of the living in these lands and forbids their existence.
