Beyond the card

Now that the world seems to have regained its elemental balance, nature and its adaptation to the environment can be observed as never before. Some shallow areas of the Ocean are in fact the domain of a giant octopus. These octopuses, non-aggressive toward the ships of Lumethia, are nonetheless territorial. Their tentacles come out of the water to emit an alert sound signaling the octopus's presence. Ships that ignore the warning end up at the bottom of the sea. Only one accident is on record, dating from the old days. Today, these creatures serve as landmarks at sea to chart routes.
