Death does not exist in Elther. In the Abyss, the dreams and nightmares of the Awakened mingle to purge damned souls: dreams shape new souls, which nightmares then purify. Eternal agents patrol the Abyss to keep their shifting state stable. The Leviathan of the Skies is one of them; it weaves the bubbles of each individual dream in its wake. Should it one day stop or disappear, the Awakened would be condemned to know only nightmare during their sleep.
